As Reportage photography (as my style is commonly called) has increased in popularity I have been commissioned to work right across the UK, Europe & Australia.

I believe the fairest way to price a commission is to work out a price for each couple on the basis of exactly what they want. For example, it would be unfair to include flight and accommodation costs for more local commissions.

I would be very happy to prepare a no-obligation quotation for your day.

In order for me to do this please let me know the following information ...

1. The date of the wedding. (I only accept one commission per weekend).
2. The location of the wedding (or the nearest town).
3. The number of hours you would like me to cover on the day (please see the notes below).
4. The number of guests you expect on the day (this helps me estimate the number of albums, prints and images your Portfolio will contain).

In terms of hours. I would typically start an hour before the ceremony, unless you wished for any "getting ready" photographs - in which case I would suggest no more than 2 hours before. Of course, I am happy to start whenever you wish if you would like longer or shorter coverage than this.

In term of a finish time - it's really down to how much of the story of your day you wish me to tell. The most popular finish time is "after the first dance". However, previous couples have chosen "after the speeches", "mid evening" or "end of the night".

If you would like to estimate the coverage on a number of hours (1 to 16) rather than specific times - that is fine. The day would be booked out for you - you can move the hours backwards/forwards as you wish as your plans come together nearer the day. You can of course add extra hours or remove unwanted ones to get the coverage you desire.
